Facebook and Instagram ads are an incredible way to target your ideal customers online, share your favourite beauty products with them, and get them to fill their shopping carts up!
Your main goal right now is to double down on retail product sales, especially with your online shop. Now that you’ve got an eCommerce up and running, you want everyone to know about it and help them discover their new favourite products.
Instagram and Facebook ads will make it happen!

Here’s how to create an Instagram or Facebook ad that is irresistible to new customers, and gets them excited to try out all the products you’ve got for sale!
#1: Create a social-only promotional package ❤️
Put together a limited-time or limited-quantity offer that is only available through your ad, for your online store. Whether you offer free shipping (a huge incentive to shop!), a free mini product with each order, or a “BOGO” deal, having something special to offer will get customers to take action when they see your ad! Put together a package, give it a cute name, and a special price. Customers go crazy for these special packages!
#2: Create a high quality video with beautiful visuals of your products 🧴
There’s no denying that when we shop online, we are usually won over by beautiful photos and high quality videos of products. The same goes for you and your online shop! Invest some time or money in creating a 60 second video where you introduce your favourite products (or focus on just one) and also introduce yourself as a beauty pro. Videos convert so much better than photos alone!
#3: Stop boosting posts, and use the Facebook Ads Manager to make your ads! 💸
I can’t tell you how many “failed” boost posts I’ve seen from hairstylists and estheticians: They spend $20 on a sponsored post, check on it a few days later, and realize that all it got them was some followers, likes, and maybe a DM or two… but no bookings! My secret weapon to creating Instagram and Facebook ads that actually work? The Ads Manager. It’s so game-changing and will help you target the perfect customers and get them to follow through with making a purchase.
