Woohoo! Here’s Your Perfect Instagram Ad:
The Educational Ad
Whether you do microblading, laser skin services, custom facials, or something else, sometimes your services need to be explained, and clients need to be educated on the benefits before feeling comfortable booking.
One of your biggest challenges right now is finding ways to explain what you do, to the right people, who are ready to book with you right now.
The great news is that Facebook and Instagram ads are perfect for sharing short, educational videos with new people, and converting them into loyal clients.
Here’s just one example of what’s possible with social media ads, from my student, Rebecca!
Here’s how to create an Instagram or Facebook ad that is irresistible to new clients, and gets them shouting, “I’ve got to book with her!”
#1: Create a social-only promotional package ❤️
Put together a limited-time or limited-quantity offer that is only available through your ad. And I’m not talking discounts! In order to actually have clients get interested in your ad and book an appointment, you need to give them a reason to book NOW. Put together a package with some extra bonus services or products that cost you next-to-nothing, give it a cute name, and a special price. Clients go crazy for these special packages!
#2: Film a short, educational video where you explain your services and introduce yourself 🎥
Stop sharing pics of hair, makeup, or skin, and expect them to bring you a ton of bookings! New clients care more about YOU and your business than seeing yet another picture of your clients. The best way to showcase your biz to new clients is through short (60 seconds or less) videos where you visually show your services and explain how they work, and introduce yourself. And don’t forget a magnetic caption, too!
#3: Stop boosting posts, and use the Facebook Ads Manager to make your ads! 💸
I can’t tell you how many “failed” boost posts I’ve seen from hairstylists and estheticians: They spend $20 on a sponsored post, check on it a few days later, and realize that all it got them was some followers, likes, and maybe a DM or two… but no bookings! My secret weapon to creating Instagram and Facebook ads that actually work? The Ads Manager. It’s so game-changing and will help you target the perfect clients and get them to follow through with making an appointment.

Hey, new friend! I’m Stephanie Mitchell ✨
From being the marketing director of tech companies, to running my own marketing agency, and now teaching other business owners how to do marketing… let’s just say marketing is a HUGE part of my life.
I’m a recovering perfectionist and proud digital nomad (I live between Canada and Italy), helping beauty business owners overcome self-doubt and imposter syndrome, by teaching them how to find their perfect clients online with a strong online presence.
My goal is to teach what I’ve learned in overcoming fear of “putting myself out there”, to lift up other female entrepreneurs around the world.
So nice to meet you!
