Like random facts? Here’s one you never thought you wanted to know:

The average fiction novel contains 90,000 words. (I personally love sci-fi and fantasy series that go on forever, way past 90,000, but that’s just me being a nerd).

And here’s something that I just figured out today: in my past 4 years of having my salon marketing blog, I’ve published 103 blog posts, and written more than 150,000 words!  Insane!

But the tricky part is, you probably haven’t even seen a small fraction of my blogs.

Most of them just tend to get buried whenever I publish something fresh.

That’s why today I’m sharing my top-rated, binge-worthy blog posts of 2021. From decorating your salon on a budget, to finding the right hashtags… they’re going to get you FIRED up with inspiration for building your beauty business.

Grab a cozy blanket, some apple pie spiced tea (that’s what I’ve got going), and tuck into this reading list…

By using the right hashtags for your photos and videos, more potential clients will discover, like, and engage with your posts. In fact, studies say that posts with 9 hashtags or more perform 2.5 times better than posts without hashtags!

In this guide I show you exactly how hashtags work to help people discover your posts, how to research the right hashtags for your specific city, and some freebies to improve your overall Instagram game for your beauty business.

Color matters. What color you choose to represent your salon matters. If you’re being flip floppy about your colors, your clients will never have that “magic” moment where they see a hue and they immediately associate it with you.

In this practical guide, you’ll learn step by step how to choose a beautiful color palette to use in all your marketing, and start building a rock-solid, unforgettable brand for your business.
